A framed 19th century Belgian landscape painting, oil on wood, depicting a dusk scene by a lake.
A view across a lake with a small paddle boat rowed by a lone driver wearing a hat, a grove of silver birch trees to the left and a large shadowy willow tree to the right reflecting amongst some grasses upon the water. Looking toward the horizon where the sky glows peachy sunset tones, a village can be seen with buildings and a distinct church steeple.
Oil on wood, unsigned and undated.
Framed in an original gilt frame with myrtle leaves. In wonderful condition ready to be hung.
Condition: in good original condition, some minor areas of loss to gilt on the frame, see photos.
