





A PAIR OF 19TH C. FRENCH BRONZE TABLE LAMPS WITH ROBERT KIME SHADES
A pair of 19th century French solid bronze candlesticks converted to table lamps, circa 1880.
Decorated with a finely reeded bronze bamboo body upon which a lizard crawls downward with its tail wrapped around the candlestick. Below this, a botanical decorated base with leaves upon three solid hoofed feet. Above, a candle holder featuring petal details mounted with later addition faux candle holders. Upon this, new brass lamp holders have been mounted with new petite pierced card clip-on lampshades by Robert Kime and renewed silk covered wiring with inline switch to Australian socket.
Retaining original rich bronze patina.
Condition: in good original condition showing signs of wear in keeping with age.
