A 19th century French Louis XVI style fall front bureau secretaire desk. Supurb carving in fruitwood with brass hardware and two original keys. Three drawers sit below a fall front desk and one drawer above with original dark grey marble top. Inside the desk here are pigeon holes and seven drawers. Desk supported by iron brackets with evidence of historic ink stains, they tell a beautiful story of the history of this piece. Sitting raised from the floor on four carved feet. In wonderful condition for age with a rich patina.
Condition: in good original condition showing signs of wear in keeping with age.
