










19TH C. FRENCH HARVEST CANDELABRAS
A pair of 19th century French gilded brass harvest candelbaras. Leaves to the stems of the candelbaras with lily flowers and candle holders upon formed urns mounted on dragon feet with crucifix. These would have been used in a provincial church around to celebrate the harvest and earthly bounty.
Condition: in good original condition, aged brass with a rich patina, one candelbara featuring alot of its original gilding therefore more lusterous than the other. Some losses to each candelabra which includes missing stamens, four flowers and one candle holder; refer to photos. Harvest candelbaras of this era commonly have missing elements over time, a matching pair of this size is rare.
