


19TH C. FRENCH BRONZE CLAW FOOT TABLE LAMP PAIR
A pair of 19th century French solid bronze candlesticks converted to table lamps, circa 1880.
Decorated with a finely reeded bronze body upon a botanical decorated base with leaves upon three solid lions clawed feed. Above, a fine circular wax catchment sits below patterned candle holder mounted with later addition faux candle holders that retain a beautiful patina from time. Upon this, new brass lamp holders have been mounted with new petite card clip-on lampshades and renewed silk covered wiring to Australian socket.
Retaining original rich bronze patina.
Condition: in good original condition showing signs of wear in keeping with age.
