


19TH C. ENGLISH BARLEY TWIST TABLE LAMP PAIR
A pair of 19th century English solid bronze candlesticks converted to table lamps, circa 1860.
Decorated with a thick closed barley twist body upon a solid square footed base. Above, a fine circular wax catchment sits below a bulbous out-swept candle holder within which new brass lamp holders have been mounted with new petite card clip-on lampshades and renewed silk covered wiring to Australian socket.
Retaining original rich bronze patina.
Condition: in good original condition showing signs of wear in keeping with age.
